Why we built this.
Hi, I'm Sanya, founder of InVizn. Before this was a company, it was a problem I lived through.
I studied engineering at IIT Delhi and business at IIM Ahmedabad. But none of that prepared me for what happened when I started planning my own wedding.
It started with venue selection. Venue owners had beautiful spaces to show, but no efficient way to show them customised to me. What I got instead was generic photo dumps of other people's weddings, more follow-ups, more site visits, more fragmented information, and every decision delayed.
Does being on a budget mean I don't deserve to see and feel a venue before I visit it, or before I pay for it?
Then came the decor. Every Pinterest picture I showed got the same easy yes. But a yes without a preview is just a hope. And friends who'd already paid learned it the hardest way: told to imagine their day, then handed something nowhere close to what they were told to imagine, on the one day that gets no second try.
That's when the anxiety set in, and I don't use that word lightly. It wasn't just about the day looking right. It was the quiet, constant math of a budget that couldn't afford to get it wrong, multiplied across every decision I couldn't preview. I call it visualization anxiety now, because once I had a name for it, I started seeing it everywhere: in every couple, at every venue, with every planner.
